Heather Campbell is an Inuk artist and curator, originally from Rigolet, Labrador, now living in North West River. She worked for the Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) in Ottawa for a number of years, as well at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the National Gallery of Canada, Library and Archives Canada, and most recently the Inuit Art Foundation. Currently she is curating an exhibition for the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Her documentary short, Miss Campbell: Inuk Teacher is available to stream on the National Film Board website. Campbell’s artwork can be found in collections across Canada including the City of Ottawa art collection and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal, QC.
