Them Days and its staff have been honoured with several awards throughout its five-decade history:

  • 1984: Heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council
  • 1986: Doris Saunders, Editor, Member of the Order of Canada
  • 1994: Doris Saunders, Northern Telecom Arts Achievement Award, Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council
  • 1994: Doris Saunders, Editor, Honorary Doctorate of Letters, Memorial University
  • 2009: Manning Award for the Public Presentation of Historical Places from the Historic Sites Association
  • 2016: Shortlisted for the Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Community Programming
  • 2019: Heritage Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Historical Society
  • 2024: Premier’s Award for Heritage (inaugural) from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador
