As a non-profit organization, Them Days needs assistance in keeping Labrador history alive. You can help by contributing to Them Days, or by making a financial donation.
A donation to Them Days in memory of a lost loved one is a fitting way to pay tribute to those who shaped the history of Labrador. Donors are listed and thanked on the inside back cover of the next issue of Them Days.
Them Days is a registered charity, and tax receipts are issued for donations over $5.00. Our charitable registration number is #11924 4796 RR0001.
Your donation will help us keep recording oral histories, safeguarding them in our archives, and publishing stories in our quarterly magazine. The money goes towards our operating costs, towards hiring and mentoring youth to keep the transmission of stories going from one generation to the next, and keeping our archives safe from environmental hazards.
There are several ways to donate to Them Days:
You may make your donation by cheque or money order, mailed to:

We also accept donations through our Zeffy platform (they won’t take out any fees), or through Canada Helps.
Gifts in Lieu of Flowers
Many families choose to ask for donations to be directed to Them Days in lieu of flowers when a loved one passes. It’s a meaningful way to honour the memory of someone who loved our magazine or archives. Speak with the representative at a funeral home about including that request in an obituary.
Planned Giving/Legacy Gifts
You can name Them Days Incorporated as a beneficiary in your will. This planned gift will continue to help Them Days even after you pass away. These bequests could be a “residual gift,” which means donating some or all funds left over after other planned gifts, such as to your children and grandchildren. Or you could leave a percentage of your estate to Them Days, if you prefer. Them Days can also be named as a beneficiary of your life insurance policies, or your RRSPs, RRIFs, or TSFAs. Employer-Matched Gifts

Many large employers also offer the option of contributing a portion of each paycheque that will be directed towards Them Days. It’s a great way to make a donation that really adds up over the year, and best of all, you don’t need to even think about it!
