Thomas Curl was born in Battle Harbour. Garland Curl went with two buddies of his to seal hunt in 1982. When Gertrude was a Curl, then married Jim Chubbs. Clyde Saunders was born in  Corner Brook (Nfld) in 1932. Frank Clark fished ‘ til the fishing was over in ’92. Alice Rumbolt’s mom died when she was in St. Anthony and went with her father for awhile. Ben Rowe was 9 years old when he left Carbonear. Joe Roberts wife was a teacher and he was a farmer when he was in P. E. I. Rhyna McLean came to Labrador City in October, 1961. Merle McLean Roberts was born in North west River, Labrador.
