The Mission House and Church was established in Makkovik. Max Jacque’s great grandfather came from Quebec. Before Robert Mitchell was born his parents used to go check the traps. Leonard McNeill and his family moved to North West River in 1950. Frank Clark was born in Caplin Bay. Mary Clark was born in St. Michael’s Bay. Donald Alexander Smith seen a medical man for 15 or 16 years. Donald Alexander Smith spent years in Hudson’s Bay Service, coast of Labrador, Hudson’s Straights, Great North west And Montreal. Hopedale had two buildings made for originally constructed for that purpose. Harriet Burdett Moulton heard a noise outside, it was that bear again.
